This little application will make life easier for those using a split screen desktop. Instead of manually changing sizes this application will help you with some simple clicks. The application only finds itself nested in the menubar ( icon in menubar) from where you make a selection from the drop-down list.
The drop-down list offers choices for single screens as well as dual monitor options. Preferences are minimal as it presents all selections with short-code functions. It all works well and needs no learning path once your System Preferences have been set for Accessibility.

As it is just a small tool there’s not a lot to discuss really as Big Sur also features a split screen setting which only works on one screen unlike to options provided by Split Screen Ultimate. In Big Sur you just move the cursor to the green dot top left corner of the active screen. A small
drop-down offers you six choices.

- Screen Split works flawless and would satisfy me if I was in need for such a utility. It does have its limitations as it only offers screen layouts and no additional extra swipable desktops.
- To me it would be a bonus if the drop-down menu would also show icons to visualise the actions available.
